MAC Lippie Collection

Step right up, come gather round! I bring you my MAC lippie collection.

Luxe Naturale – This is the first ever MAC lippie I  purchased. It was my cousins birthday and myself, my sister and cousins thought it would be fun to get our makeup done at MAC before we had a night out on the town. I fell in love with how natural this lipstick looked. I wasn’t to bold with my makeup looks yet so this was the perfect first lippie for me. Luxe Naturale is described as ‘light beige cream’ its part of the mineralize rich lipsticks. It claims to be lightweight, non-sticky, buildable coverage, long lasting with a medium shine finish. The longevity of the lipstick did not hold up to its long lasting claims and I wouldn’t say that I was able to build the colour up either. But with it being my ever first mac lippie I love it none the less for sentimental reasons 😉

Satin Finish – These lipsticks glide on smoothly. They’re non dryin and aren’t to creamy in texture. They feel light weight on the lips and won’t smear nor transfer to easily.

Twig – This is the second lippie I purchased. It’s described as ‘soft muted brownish-pink’ This is one of my go to colours during the fall months. It’s one of those lipsticks you choose to wear when your indecisive cause you know it’ll look great with anything you’ve got going on.

Pink Nouveau – This is the newest to my MAC collection my sister actually gave it to me for my birthday. It’s described as ‘bright pink’ The picture above doesn’t do the lipstick justice. It truly is brighter in person and the perfect midtoned pink that anyone can pull off. Such a beautiful spring or summer pink!

Amplified Cream Finish –  These lipsticks are creamy and pigmented. Has a tendancy to leave a light stain on your lips. The colour  lasts a couple hours needing touch ups after eating and drinking. Non drying formula.

Dark Side – is described as ‘Deep burgandy’ this is the first dark coloured lipstick I ever owned. Took some getting used to at first considering I was used to the nudes but I fell in love with it the moment I tried it on.

Up The Amp – is described as ‘lavender violet’ this berry shade is beautiful for the winter months.

Vegas Volt – is described as ‘full power coral’ this is one of my go to colours for the summer months! It’s an excellent coral for those beach days.

Matte and Retro Matte Finish – These are my absolute favourite finishes out of my MAC lippies. I was under the impression that mattes would dry me out and would be difficult to apply but that’s not the case at all with these lipsticks. They apply smoothly and the colour pay off is awesome! Lasts all day even through eating and drinking with minor touch ups and leaves a nice stain behind so even on those busy days when there no time to touch up the colour still looks great.

Pink Pigeon – is described as ‘bright cleanest pink’ when this colour came out again last summer it was sold out everywhere. I was over the moon when I finally got my hands on this. I adore this colour for the summer months. But this colour is great during the holidays too if you’re looking for that statement look for New Year’s Eve.

All Fired Up – is described as ‘bright fuschia matte’ this has to be my favourite red lipstick that I own. Its bold, eye catching and simply gorgeous. Can be worn day or night all year round.

Flat Out Fabulous – is described as ‘bright plum matte’ I got this around the same time as Up the Amp I was actually choosing between the two shades and just decided to by both! (Why not life is too short to wear ugly lipstick.) This colour is vivid and stunning on any skin tone. It’s fabulous just as the name entails.

Please Me – is described as ‘muted rosy tinted pink’ this pink is easily paired with any look. Its my go to pink when I’m feeling more nude but still want a little bit of colour.

So there you have it lippies my MAC lippie collection. I honestly thought I had more.. looks like I’ll be hitting up MAC sometime soon!

Until next time lippies xo – Beth
