Maybelline Concealers

Well I have just been on a Maybelline craze as of late! Maybelline is fast becoming one of my favourite drugstore brands. Fantastic products for an affordable price.

I am here to review Maybelline’s Master conceal concealer along with their instant age rewind concealer. I also will be comparing these to maybelline’s fit me concealer which i reviewed a while back.

As you can see 3 different concealers 3 very different product packaging.

Master conceal comes in a squeeze tube so for application you either use your fingers or a brush. The first time I used this concealer I accidentally squeezed out to much product and was so sad!! Wasted a bunch 😩. But if you’re not a clutz like myself the squeeze tube isn’t a problem.

The instant age rewind concealer has a ball type sponge at the top as an applicator. To express the product out of the bottle you have to rotate the red part and voila the applicator is soaked in concealer. I actually like this applicator because it offers easy application.

The fit me concealer is a wand applicator. You can read more about it in my other review 😉

For reference I am an NC 35 in MAC, Tawny in Estée Lauder double wear, W5 in Loreal true match Lumi and 220 in maybelline Fit Me foundation.

From left to right Master conceal in light/Medium, instant age rewind in medium and fit me in 20 sand.

I mainly use these concealers for highlighting under my eyes and my Cupid’s bow. They may look light but when blended out they all work and I don’t look ghostly or anything haha!

The master conceal concealer has a much thicker formula than the instant age rewind. Similar to the formula of the fit me concealer. The instant age rewind is thinner and feels lighter. However the master conceal did not feel cakey or to heavy. The master conceal is definitely a medium to full coverage concealer where as the instant age rewind concealer is a medium coverage concealer. Both of these concealers set well and niether of these settled into my fine lines. The master conceal concealer is close in formula and thickness to the fit me concealer. I feel that the fit me may offer a bit more coverage and the formula is creamier but I love both! I use a beauty blender to blend out these concealers. Actually I use my beauty blender for everything!

I actually use 2 of these concealers during my makeup routine. I’ll use either the master conceal or fit me concealer under my eyes because it does a better job at covering up my dark circles then I will take the instant age rewind and use that to highlight my Cupid’s bow.

All 3 of these concealers are fantastic buys and I enjoy all of them!

Until next time Lippies.

Xoxo

Hey girl! I just stumbled upon your website trying to find shade comparisons since I am in LOVE with the Fit Me! concealers and the Instant Age Rewind concealers! I am also around the same shade range as you and would like to know what product you use if you want to cover up acne! My forehead is a little darker than the rest of my face but I am also in the shade 220 for Matte + Poreless! It’s so difficult to find a concealer that would cover up around the forehead area since it’s darker! I can’t just use the other concealers mentioned since it would be too light! I am more in the warm toned spectrum and tried to use the darkest shade in the Instant Age Rewind but it was too pink for my skin. Thanks girly xoxo
