LA Splash Lip Couture

The 90s makeup and hair trends have made a come back with the half buns and the oh so coveted dark brown lipstick and I have fallen head over heels for it!

I’ve been trying to find a dupe for the Kylie lip kit in True Brown K and saw on Instagram that Spellbound may just be the answer to my chocolate lip obsession prayers.

LA Splash’s lip couture lipsticks are liquid lipsticks that dry to an ultimate matte finish. Superior to even Kat Von D’s everlasting liquid lipsticks and also to that of Stila’s stay all day liquid lipsticks. They are smudge proof, for the most part transfer proof as well as drinking and eating proof!

Spellbound is a gorgeous dark brown shade. Everytime I’ve worn it I have gotten compliments and have been asked what lipstick I was wearing and where it can be bought. The only quarrel I have with this lipstick is that it has a very strong chemical smell when the lipstick is still wet which you can smell while applying it. However once the lipstick is fully dry the smell is no longer present.

The picture up top is reason I say that for the most part this lipstick is transfer, eating and drinking, proof cause as you can see it did transfer onto my trusty Starbucks cup. However when I was out with my girl Sheena on Thursday night the lipstick stayed on the entire night and didn’t transfer onto my tea mug, survived dinner and everything else.

So there you have it! Have you tired any of LA Splash Cosmetics lip couture lipsticks? What are your thoughts on them?

Until next time Lippies.

Xoxo

That colour looks absolutely gorgeous on you!! I have a LA Splash liquid lipstick, but it’s a more pinkish nude tone, nonetheless I like it 🙂
