One day after buying yet another MAC lippie of mine the hubby finally said don’t you think you have enough lipstick? My reply was You could never have enough lippies! But I admit I had spent a lot of money on lipstick in such a short period of time.. so what were my options? Stop buying lipstick? I THINK NOT! I opted to search for cheaper alternatives or dupes and pinterest lead me to the Wet n Wild Mega Last lippie collection!
I could not be more impressed with this collection! There are a total of 26 different shades to choose from, I own 11 of them! These lippies glide on the lips with a creamy matte finish, they are non drying, and longlasting! The darker shades tend to leave a stain behind.
From left to right we have:
Pink Sugar – One of my favourite summer nudes!
Just Peachy – This shade is very close to MAC’s Kinda Sexy! I always tend to get compliments on the colour whenever I wear this lippie.
Bare it all – I bought this shade because pinterest said it was a dupe for MAC’s Honey love which it is not! this shade is much closer to MAC’s velvet teddy if you ask me. But I still love this colour nonetheless.
Sandstorm – I think I’ve only worn this colour about 3 times.. honestly not sure why I picked it up.. not one of my faves.
Mochalicious – I love this dark rich chocolate brown lippie. I gravitate more towards it during the fall months.
Think Pink – This is such a cute pink! It’s apparently a dupe for MAC’s Crème cup though if im not mistaken crème cup is not a matte finish. I opt for this colour when I want to wear something less vibrant than MAC’s Pink pigeon but want to a brighter colour than MAC’s Please me.
Pinkerbell – MAC viva glam Nicki Minaj! Such a bright and fun pink!
Spotlight Red – This red is gorgeous! Known as a dupe for MAC’s infamous Ruby Woo.
Sugar plum fairy – This has to be my favourite colour out of the collection. My sisters best friend actually wore this colour on her wedding day and it was absolutely stunning! Of course theres a dupe for this to, MAC rebel.
Ravin Raisin – I purchased this shade because I read that it was a dupe for MAC’s heroine.. but its not! I don’t find myself wearing this shade often either. Its an unflattering dark plum shade on me.
Cherry bomb – Love this Vampy lip colour! I found myself alternating between this and sugar plum fairy all fall and winter long. This is known as a dupe for MAC diva.
So there you have it! I love how a lot of these shades are dupes of more higher end lippies at a fraction of the cost! Worth every cent spent! pick some up and try them for yourself next time you walk by them in the drugstore you won’t be disappointed.
Do you have any of these lippies? What are your faves?
Until next time Lippies – Beth xo
