NYX Liquid Suede 

FINALLY the NYX cosmetics liquid suede lipsticks have hit Canadian stores! It’s about time! 

NYX liquid suede claims to be a waterproof, long lasting with a strikingly matte finish lipstick. It comes in a variety of colours but the only one I picked up and had to get my hands on was Vintage. I felt like I had dupes in my collection already to a lot of the other colours in this line. Also I’ve been wanting Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipstick in trust issues but refuse to pay the shipping to get it to Canada not to mention the horrible exchange rate at the moment. NYX vintage is apparently a dupe for ABH trust issues. 

 
  
It comes with a flat doe foot applicator which I love. The texture of the lipstick is creamy it kind of reminds me of tarte cosmetics tastiest lip paints. It does not however dry to a full matte finish. But it’s not shiny either. It’s more of a velvet matte finish. The formula is super comfortable, it’s definitely long lasting but I wouldn’t say that it is waterproof. I had to reapply after eating but the colour did stain my lips that’s why I would say it’s long lasting. It’s also not transfer proof. 

  
I personally really enjoy this lipstick and will possibly be picking up more. In particular the shades ‘Tea and cookies’ which is a soft pink perfect for spring which is just around the corner and ‘life’s a beach’ which is a bright coral perfect for summer.
