Today I bring you LA girl’s pro conceal concealer in orange. I was on the fence about purchasing this product cause I’ve heard so many reviews that these are a dupe for MAC’s prolong wear concealer and I am not a fan of MAC’s concealer.. (Ahh don’t shoot me!) But for $5.99 I took the plunge.
Ok, ok I know you all are probably thinking that I’m crazy for not loving MAC’s prolong wear concealer BUT sadly it just didn’t work for me. It was hard to blend out, it creased, it was drying and the list goes on. Thankfully that is not the case with LA girl’s pro concealer! It’s fantastic!
Since I was on the fence about purchasing this concealer I decided to choose only one cause funk n frost, the store that sells this, has a horrible return policy. Once it’s open that’s it no returns or exchanges! Hello what if I got the wrong colour?! Ok rant over. I decided to go with the orange colour corrector cause as a mom of 3 young ones I got them dark circles under my eyes!
So we’ve got the typical squeeze tube packaging but with a brush on the end. Not the most hygienic applicator but I don’t mind. It only touching my face. The colour is orange, it’s really orange and sadly the colour correcting feature of this didn’t work out for me. I still saw my tired mommy circles under my eyes. However that being said this concealer blends out beautifully. It’s creamy, it’s matte, it didn’t feel drying nor did I notice any creasing. Now keep in mind this goes on under my actual Kat Von d concealer so I’m not sure how well the actual skin toned coloured concealers will work.
Since I really enjoyed the formula of the orange colour corrector I will be picking up a couple other shades for concealing, highlighting and cream contouring and I will update you all on that once I’ve tested everything out.
My verdict – it’s a winner! For the affordable price tag go and pick some up!
