Currect Fave Undereye Setting Powder

Since I have hit pan and ran out of my fave  yellowy banana shade in the Kat Von D’s Shade Light Palette I have not been able to find a replacement for it. I have thought of purchasing Anastasia Berverly hills Contour palette just for that beloved banana powder that all makeup guru’s seem to swear by but I just cant justify owning another contour palette when I’ve barely hit pan on any of my contour shades in the Shade Light. I’ve also thought about just purchasing the refill size of the ABH banana powder however with the exchange rate being so crappy and the shipping being an arm and a leg I never got around to it.

Then Jaclyn hill and Manny MUA spoke of MAC cosmetics pro powder in the shade Emphasize and I had to have it! Went to my local MAC store and lo and behold they don’t carry the single! I’d have to order it online or go to my downtown store to get it. Well my friends I did neither. Instead I searched for dupes of it and found one that works wonders!

Drum roll please!

Maybelline’s Set and Smooth Fit Me powder in 110!!!

Manny MUA actually used this powder to set his under eye area in an all drugstore fall makeup look that he did and even he couldn’t believe how gorgeous this powder was.

I love that the packaging comes with a hidden mirror and a puff applicator. I also enjoy its simple, black in color design. Your unable to tell from the picture but this powder does have a sheen to it. It blends out smoothly and gives your under eye area a beautiful luminousity. This powder gives your under eye area a glow from within brightness. As for wear time I get a good full days wear and so far I’ve never had to reapply. I’m curious to see if this will be the case during the summer weather. Unfortunately I don’t have a side by side swatch of MAC’s emphasize and Maybelline’s 110 powder but you can youtube or even pinterest it and its the same!

So there you have it loves. My current fave under eye setting powder.
